Stump Grinding & Removal
Tree stumps look unsightly, attract unwanted pests such as ants and termites, obstruct lawnmowers, and can even be hazardous. Here at Golden Leaf Tree Experts we offer stump removal and stump grinding services for clients.
We have the equipment necessary to remove virtually any stump, no matter its size or location. Our stump grinders are equipped with powerful engines and durable, carbide-tipped grinding teeth, which means we can grind stumps to below ground level. Once we are done grinding you can plant grass or shrubs in the spots where the stumps used to exist. In addition, we are able to remove roots that are protruding from the ground or growing too close to a driveway or sidewalk.
Do you have a stump located in a hard-to-reach area, such as a gated back yard or between two structures? Or perhaps you want to remove a stump but you are worried about the machine causing damage to your property? Not to worry, we have a portable stump grinder that can fit through any space 36 inches or larger. In addition, we are typically able to set up plywood and weight dispersing mats in order to minimize damage turf.
In addition, we are able to remove root balls, though this is often significantly more difficult. For a small root ball, we may be able to grind it down to a pile of shavings using our machinery. But for bigger root balls, it may be necessary to use large equipment such as a skid-steer or crane.
Unless otherwise requested, we leave the stump shavings in place. These shavings are perfect for decorative cover around plants and trees, use in the garden or compost pile, ground cover in a dog kennel, and a variety of other uses. But if you would like for us to remove the shavings, just let us know and we will be sure to include this as part of the job.
If you have stumps or roots that need to be removed, contact Golden Leaf Tree Experts today. We can usually provide stump removal and grinding quotes over the phone, assuming you are able to email us a picture or two. But if we cannot, we will send one of our educated arborists to meet with you and provide you with a free estimate.
